Description:
The SUNShINE Platform is a comprehensive toolkit designed to support organizations involved in energy retrofitting activities, as well as financial and governmental institutions, and residents of multi-family dwellings. The platform streamlines the retrofitting process and provides a transparent and user-friendly step-by-step approach with instructions and templates.

Project Goals:

To provide One-Stop-Shops with a toolkit to support their work in energy retrofitting activities
To make the energy retrofitting process more transparent and user-friendly for residents of multi-family dwellings
To provide a cost calculator, energy efficiency subscription checklist, and energy efficiency subscription refinance ability checklist to help organizations make informed decisions about retrofitting projects
To allow One-Stop-Shops to customize the toolkit to fit the local context

Project Risks:

Minimal technical issues encountered during development and deployment

Project Lessons Learned:

The importance of involving all stakeholders in the requirements gathering and analysis phase to ensure that the platform meets their needs in multiple languages
The value of a user-centered design and user-friendly interface to ensure high adoption and user satisfaction in multiple languages
The benefits of a clear and detailed project plan to mitigate risks and ensure a successful outcome, especially when working with multiple languages.
